When I returned home, I decided to create some leaf prints using cut out potatoes dipped in acrylic paint to experiment with texture, colour, and form.
I like how the prints capture the seasonal feel of Autumn through the different hues of red, brown and orange - and as the appearance of the prints are quite decorative, I want to see how they look as a possible background to my illustrations...
